"A celebration of what the arts in Powys have to offer" is the best way to describe the 2011 Powys Arts Month.

With our existing partnership with the Powys Arts Forum, implementing a website to promote the Powys Arts Month was a relatively simple process, thanks in main to the immense flexibility offered by the TYPO3 content management system.

Working closely with Swansea based Graphic and Web Designer Dickie Dwyer and Arts Month co-ordinator Henry Widdicombe, we were able to implement a multi-site set up using the Powys Arts Forums existing TYPO3 installation.

The bespoke development of a directory module which includes full Artists’ listings and details along with Google Map integration was a core part of the development work undertaken.

The integration of news and social media modules combined with Google Fonts further helped to deliver features of the site. Our expertise in modifying existing modules was also utilised and further complimented the website. Our experienced team were able to integrate a TYPO3 slideshow module with our bespoke directory system, allowing us to deliver a Featured Artist module located on the homepage. To add that extra touch, we also rendered the Arts Month brochure into an ebook with page turning technology.
