Powys Arts Forum were looking for a web design company within Powys to help them take forward their web presence and make communication with their members easier. Having been involved with the Powys County Council arts-engine project, we were more than happy to assist the Powys Arts Forum with their new website.

Before we started to develop the new TYPO3 based website, we were invited to attend the Powys Arts Forum annual conference to deliver a short presentation to their members on making the most of the internet for artists and to also discuss the features that the members would like to see within the new website.

The new website makes full use of the enterprise level features available through TYPO3. The site is split into two distinct areas each with their own editing team. The site provides the ability to deliver the latest Powys Arts Forum news, and an area dedicated to upcoming member appearances, shows and events.

The new website also utilises TYPO3’s direct mail extension allowing the Powys Arts Forum committee to email newsletters to their members on a regular basis.

In addition to the development of the new website, we have also provided e-business mentoring to help Powys Arts Forum extend their use of the web and communicate with their members even more efficiently.

As with all of our clients, Powys Arts Forum received initial training on the TYPO3 Admin Portal and continue to receive additional training and support for their content editors as and when required.
