Quite simply, info-engine is one of the largest projects we have delivered. We tendered for and were awarded the contract to develop and support the info-engine project, a joint venture between Powys County Council and PAVO in 2008.

The project in its most simple form is an online directory of community and voluntary organisations that operate within Powys. The website provides both a directory based system and a series of search options, as well as full details for the registered organisations.

The site however is also much more than a simple directory and search engine. With XML and RSS feeds available, the data within info-engine can easily be distributed to partner websites eliminating the need for multiple organisations and departments to have their own versions of the same basic data. Once fully integrated into partner websites, info engine will be a prime example of how the web can benefit people who live and work within Powys.
